Do I have to wear it as a necklace?
No. You can wear it as a bracelet on your left wrist or you can carry it in a pocket, preferably a pocket on your left.
Is it good for kids?
Yep.The bead is great for kids, might be a challenge to get them to wear it, but you can always put it in a pocket or pin inside clothes.
Can I wear the bead when I sleep?
Definitely. It is very good to use the bead while sleeping. You can wear it on the body or simply place it underneath your pillow. Some people just keep it on their nightstand.
How do I charge water with it?
There are two easy ways to charge water and other liquids. You can place the bead in a pitcher and let it sit overnight. Or you can simply lean the bead up against a glass or mug and keep it there for about two minutes.
What is Crystal Catalyst® charged water good for?
Pretty much everything. It's good to drink, to cook with or to make tea with. It's great for pets and great for house plants. Water your house plants with some charged water and you will see the difference.
Can I charge food with it?
Yep. Just lean the bead up against your plate and leave it there for two minutes.
Do I need to clear my bead?
No. Unlike a crystal, the bead doesn't need to be cleared because it doesn't hold onto negativity. With that said, we would recommend clearing it if you've been wearing it and are planning to pass it on to someone else. Just run it under some clean water.
Can I use the bead for my dog, cat, horse, etc.?
Yep. Place the bead on your dogs collar. For cats, if they don't like to wear a collar, just place a bead in their bed or under their favorite pillow. For horses, place a bead on their collar.
A coating seems to be peeling off of my Bead. What is this coating?
All CC Beads are covered with a non-toxic protective coating. This coating is put there by Kathleen McKusick (Kathleen makes all the Beads!) just to provide a little protection for your Bead. If it starts to come lose, you can just go ahead and peel it off. Not having this protective coating will not interfere with your Bead doing its clearing work, nor is the coating, or the Bead without it, toxic. Chances are, if you keep your Bead submerged in a pitcher of water to make charged water (like we do), over time your coating will begin to peel off. Simply take off the coating and put the Bead back in the water. The Bead is not toxic with or without the coating.
