How do I know if I'm being affected by EMFs?
You might feel unusually tired, be experiencing sleep difficulties, feel spacey, drained, irritable and even depressed. You might be experiencing headaches and eye strain. The eyes are organs of light and, because of this, absorb a great deal of electromagnetic frequencies. People who work on computers often complain of floaters and dry eyes. Skin rashes are another common complaint.
Check in with your body. If you have a hunch that something you're using or exposed to is bothering you, it probably is. Trust your gut.
Do I really need EMF Protection?
Thinking about EMF protection is new to a lot of people. Just think, 20 years ago most people drank tap water. Today, we know better. We use water filters or buy bottled water. The same holds true for our air. Today we use air purifiers or ozonators to help clean the air in our homes. Years ago, that wan' t the case.
With regards to protection from EMFs, 20 years ago the average person was not as exposed to as many EMFs as they are today. In fact, the average person today is exposed to over 200 million times the amount of radiation than their grandparents. When you were growing up, how much technology was in your home? Now compare that to how much technology is in your home today! Couple that with the exponential growth of wireless telecommunications and the advent of immense satellite tracking systems such as GPS that track everything from your cell phone to your blender and you're talking about a lot of what's called background radiation.
The question is not do you need EMF protection. The question is who doesn't?
How do EMFs harm the body?
The human body is an electrical battery. It functions on electrical impulses. Your brain and your nervous system send out electrical impulses telling your cells what to do. When you are bombarded by environmental EMFs, it disrupts your body's own electrical communication system. Your body begins to function less than optimally. Circulation, blood flow, cell nourishment and lymphatic flow become stressed. The body begins to lose vitality. Systems weaken. Immediate symptoms surface like fatigue, headaches and spiciness. These are all signals from your body that it is under stress. Continual stress leaves the body vulnerable to more serious afflictions.
What illnesses have EMFs been linked to?
Studies have linked EMF exposure to cancer, brain tumors, alzheimer's, ADD, autism, birth defects, miscarriages, childhood leukemia, multiple sclerosis, accelerated aging and autoimmune illnesses such as fibromylagia and lupus.
I've heard you can block or shield EMFs. Is that true?
There are certain metals, such as lead, that are able to block or shield EMFs. Lead aprons are often used to shield the chest when receiving dental X-rays. In our experience, blocking or shielding EMFs using a small tab is not plausible. A lead apron is a large piece of lead that covers the area that is intended to be shielded. Makes sense. To block frequencies using a small tab on an electronic appliance does not make sense. Especially when that appliance needs to still function. If you are actually blocking EMFs from a cell phone antenna, then that cell phone would no longer be able to receive reception. All the frequencies that the phone needs to operate would technically be blocked.
I've heard you can use an EMF meter to measure the amount of EMFs in your home?
There are many types of EMF Meters. Some sell for $50. Some sell for $4000. Not all EMF Meters are able to accurately measure all types of frequencies. Some meters measure more of one frequency (like RF), and some measure more of another( like VLF). When using a meter, you are not necessarily getting an accurate reading of the frequencies in your space. Muscle testing and dowsing are much more accurate methods of detecting EMFs.
What is the best way to protect myself and my family from EMFs?
The best EMF Protection on the market today is not BioPro, not Earthcalm, not Q-link. These products are mass produced in China by large corporations.
